Privacy policy

This is a short policy because this is a simple website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party content and has no forms. The only personal data involved is what your browser sends to our server in order to deliver the page to you.

Who is responsible

The data controller for any personal data described here is Mart Hayvancılık ve Dış Ticaret Ltd. Şti., Dumlupınar Blv., Next Level Kat: 8/32, Çankaya, Ankara, Türkiye. You can reach us at iletisim@equogen.com.

What is collected when you visit

Our hosting provider records standard server access logs. A log entry can contain:

  • your IP address
  • the date and time of the request
  • the page or file requested
  • the response status and amount of data transferred
  • your browser type and operating system, and the referring page if one was sent

These logs exist so the site can be delivered reliably and so we can identify technical faults and abuse. We do not use them to build profiles and we do not try to identify individual visitors from them.

Legal basis

Processing of access logs rests on our legitimate interest in operating and securing this website, under Article 5(2)(f) of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law no. 6698). Our hosting provider processes these logs on our behalf as a data processor.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no social media embeds. Because nothing is stored on your device and no tracking takes place, no consent banner is shown.

Third-party content

All fonts, images and styles are served from this domain. Your browser is not asked to contact any other company while loading these pages, so no data about your visit is shared with a third party through the site itself.

If you contact us

If you write to us by email, we process the content of your message and your contact details in order to reply and, where relevant, to take steps prior to entering into a contract. That rests on Article 5(2)(c) and Article 5(2)(f) KVKK. Business correspondence is retained for as long as the matter is live and thereafter as required by applicable accounting and commercial record-keeping rules.

Retention

Server access logs are kept only for the period set by our hosting provider for operational and security purposes, and are deleted or anonymised after that. Correspondence is kept as described above.

Transfers abroad

We do not transfer visitor data abroad for the purpose of running this website. Should that change, this policy will be updated first.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may ask whether your personal data is being processed, request information about it, learn the purpose of processing, request correction of inaccurate data, request erasure or destruction, and object to a result produced solely by automated analysis. Write to iletisim@equogen.com and we will respond within thirty days.

You also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority, the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu), Nasuh Akar Mah. Ziyabey Cad. 1407. Sok. No: 4, Balgat, Çankaya, Ankara.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new date at the top.

This website describes the intended scope of our activity in veterinary medicines and equine genetics. It is provided for general information to prospective partners and professional counterparties. These terms and any dispute arising from the use of this site are governed by Turkish law, and the courts and enforcement offices of Ankara have jurisdiction. This does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory law of your own country of residence.
